Our second weekly spotlight student is Jeanne Ann Kelly.

Jeanne is from Glasgow, Ky., where her wonderful parents Kevin and Ann Kelly still live. She is a sophomore here at Eastern Kentucky University majoring in Construction Management. Jeanne is also a Pledge for Alpha Phi Omega, a member of Toastmaster, and an intern at Amteck of Kentucky.

The first phase of $1.4 million in improvements at Madison Airport began Tuesday afternoon with a ceremonial groundbreaking.

According to Willie Walker, airport board chair, this is the first step in improving aviation services for the community and also benefit the Eastern Kentucky University aviation program.

Master's Degree Program in Construction Management Now Fully Online

Eastern Kentucky University will offer a 100 percent online master’s degree in construction management for fall 2014.

The program, designed to serve current industry professionals, can be completed in as little as 18 months and is unique in that it offers an avenue of advancement for individuals from across the industry spectrum.

Applied Engineering Management major Soufiane Bouchikhi was officially named Division I All-American by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association following his performance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore.

Sean Hagen

Construction Management major Sean Hagen is one of 15 semifinalists for the 2014 Johnny Bench Award, the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission announced recently. The award is given annually to the top NCAA Division I catcher. Hagen is a senior from Reading, Pa.
