Eastern Kentucky University’s aviation program continues to write its name in the skies above the Commonwealth.

On Jan. 28, University officials met with representatives of Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) to discuss a 2+2 partnership to offer ACTC students a degree in aviation through EKU’s highly accredited program.

This week’s Spotlight Student is Rebecca Sweet. Rebecca is a 21-year-old senior from right here in Richmond! She is represented by her loving parents Mark and Carolyn Sweet and is active in many activities other than her class work. She is a member of the EKU Women’s Rugby team, an Admissions Recruitment Ambassador, a Doug Whitlock Scholar, and a Chamber Colonel.
