On April 25, 2013, the Louisville FAA Flight Standards District Office renewed the EKU Aviation Part 141 certificate. In order to receive this renewal, over the last two years, EKU Aviation had to achieve an 80 percent or higher first attempt pass rate on FAA written exams and FAA practical exams, also called check rides.

Eastern Kentucky University student-athletes gathered in the Keen Johnson Ballroom on April 10th for the annual Student-Athlete Academic Awards Breakfast.
