TECH selects David Carpenter as 2003 distinguished alum
EKU's Department of Technology is pleased to announce that Mr. David Carpenter has been selected as their departmental distinguished alum for 2003.
Mr. Carpenter was honored during a presentation on Friday, March 28, 2003, at the annual College of Business and Technology Professional Skills Conference senior recognition luncheon.
The honor is reserved for special alumni who have distinguished themselves in their professions through excellence, dedication, and service.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology with an Electronics Option from EKU in 1971 and a Master's of Industrial Technology from EKU in 1976.
Mr. Carpenter is General Manager of Dresser Instrument Division, Berea, Kentucky. He travels globally, especially to Dresser’s supply base in China. Mr. Carpenter has also served on six accreditation committees for the National Association of Industrial Technology.
Congratulations, Mr. Carpenter, on being selected as the College of Business and Technology 2003 Distinguished Alumnus representing the Department of Technology.
The college also honored distinguished seniors for the year as selected by their respective departments within the College of Business and Technology. In addition, recipients of scholarships and awards for the 2002-03 academic year were recognized. Students were honored for outstanding achievement and more than 40 area employers were on hand to engage in networking activities with college graduating seniors.
