TECH selects Clyde Craft as 2005 distinguished alum
EKU's Department of Technology is pleased to announce that Dr. Clyde O. Craft has been selected as their departmental distinguished alum for 2005.
Dr. Craft was honored during a presentation on Friday, April 1, 2005, at the annual College of Business and Technology Professional Skills Conference senior recognition luncheon.
The honor is reserved for special alumni who have distinguished themselves in their professions through excellence, dedication, and service.

Professor Emeritus Craft served for 27 years as Professor and Chair of EKU’s Department of Technology. During his tenure, the Department made a significant transition from a general industrial technology bachelor of science degree program to distinct accredited programs in manufacturing and construction.
The Master’s degree in manufacturing was developed and selected by major Kentucky industries for in-plant offerings. Major advances were also achieved by incorporating computer applications in nearly every subject.
Dr. Craft also served an eight-year term as Membership Chair of the distinguished Mississippi Valley Industrial Teacher Education Conference.
The college also honored distinguished seniors for the year as selected by their respective departments within the College of Business and Technology. In addition, recipients of scholarships and awards for the 2004-05 academic year were recognized. Students were honored for outstanding achievement and more than 40 area employers were on hand to engage in networking activities with college graduating seniors.
