Student Spotlight: Rebecca Sweet

This week’s Spotlight Student is Rebecca Sweet. Rebecca is a 21-year-old senior from right here in Richmond! She is represented by her loving parents Mark and Carolyn Sweet and is active in many activities other than her class work. She is a member of the EKU Women’s Rugby team, an Admissions Recruitment Ambassador, a Doug Whitlock Scholar, and a Chamber Colonel.

Rebecca is an Aviation Major with an Aerospace Management concentration. She one day hopes to work in Airport Operations or in FBO Management. She heard about this program her freshman year at Eastern and quickly became interested. She eventually chose this program because it’s a specialized management degree with many opportunities to travel, which is one of her absolute favorite things to do.

She says that this degree offers small class sizes and personable professors and that students should choose this degree because aviation is a growing industry that offers many different options for students.
